Chris Henrich is a 2007 graduate of Germantown Academy and a 2011 graduate of the University of Virginia with a B.S. degree in Economics. At Germantown Academy, Chris was a three-year varsity letterwinner while posting an outstanding 199-20 won-loss record. He was a four-time Pennsylvania Independent School state champion, a two time National Prep School finalist in 2006 and 2007, winning a National Prep Champion at 174 in 2007. In his senior season, he was named the Germantown Academy Outstanding Wrestler and finished with a perfect 30-0 record. He was the first-ever high school student athlete to win the Wilkes Open College Tournament in 2007. At Virginia, Chris was a two-time Atlantic Coast Conference champion, winning titles in 2010 and 2011, both at 174 pounds. He finished second in the ACC tournament in both 2008 and 2009. He was a three-time runner-up in the prestigious Southern Scuffle Tournament and served as the Cavalier team captain three years. Chris was a three-time NCAA All American, placing 3rd in 2010, 6th in 2011 and 7th in 2009. He served as the Cavalier team captain three years while amassing a 136-21 career record. Chris was inducted into the Germantown Academy Sports Hall of Fame in 2016.
